Sometimes we forget or do not realise how difficult communication and self-expression can be for some people. What a person has gone through may not seem difficult to you but everyone goes through life with their own perspective. What may seem easy for you can be heartbreaking to another, especially if they have been through hardship, in which they may have never spoken about their past or allowed themselves to remember the experiences. Life’s Challenges

Life has drenched me with many storms
Swept me up in a tornado
while life kept moving forward

Cradled in fear
I linked life with fear
Battling a war
my body fell to the floor

Tangled up in an old sheet
my legs were cold
My heart was calling out for love
I needed someone to hold me

Sensing disaster is what I am good at
Dreams suffered long
during lack of belief in me

Awaiting healing to fall
I reached out for help
along the way I figured things out

My on-going mission
filled with healing and fear
Is a trip going forward
no matter what comes near
